Our objective is to improve quality of life and quality of education at government schools in the developing countries. We firmly believe that many teachers in Government Schools are more talented, more educated, more qualified and more competent than many teachers in private schools. Similarly many students in Government schools who belong to lower economic class are more talented and more determined to perform if they are given proper guidance, a conducive environment and due encouragement. We have started the process with one school in Lahore Pakistan and are optimistic about expanding it to more schools and more areas.
We sent a request, with our intention, to Additional Director Public Instruction Secondary Education Lahore. ADPISE liked the idea and immediately wrote letters to the District Education Officers asking them to come up with a list of four schools each with missing facilities. The ADPISE shared these lists with us. After talking to the principals of the schools and discussing with the ADPI, we decided to work at Central Model High School Samanabad Lahore. We spoke with the Principal of Central Model High School and the ADPI several times over the phone and had meetings with them to finalize the areas we can help. We highly appreciate and commend the support and cooperation of all the people involved especially the ADPISE, the DEOs and the Principal of the school. We would like to acknowledge the dedication and promptness of the process by the Department of Education and especially the people mentioned above that their promptness and cooperation was extremely impressive and beyond our imagination. We would also like to apologize to them that because of some formalities we could not be as prompt as they were and hence it took a while to start the project after the approval but the good thing is that it did start.
We are in contact with multiple schools from the list provided by the ADPI. We received their requirements and have prioritized those lists and are in the process of helping them as much as we can.
We are in contact with a non profit organization of Bangladesh named International Home Room www.ihomeroom.org We are planning to coordinate with them to provide tube wells to one or two schools in Bangladesh.
